Elizabeth comes up with the idea to crown a Halloween king & queen by voting using carved jack-o-lanterns! Jessica feels jealous & then takes credit for Liz‘s acorn pumpkin earrings, bringing the pumpkin spotlight back to her! Liz gets justice through Poe!

The final book in the #FrighteningFour miniseries was honestly, a bit of a let-down! Despite all of the spooky happenings, the final resolution is wacky (even for #SweetValley!). Plus, Alice had been established as Eva‘s 15 year old babysitter & now she was suddenly 12… the climax on yet another #SweetValleyHalloween is certainly action-packed (more fire, a cemetery chase!) & Steven plays a hilariously heroic role again but I wanted better answers

Whoah! This 3rd #SweetValleyHalloween in the #SVT series is the spookiest! Jessica finds Liz‘s Halloween “carols” & attitude juvenile so she doesn‘t want to do a joint costume. Liz plans with Amy & Maria until a stray dog leads her to a grotesque skeleton mask that she inexplicably loves. Soon she‘s acting meaner than Betsy Martin (she debuts here!) & making her friends & twin cry. Jessica braves yet another spooky house to learn how to save her!

It‘s 2 weeks before (another) #SweetValleyHalloween when Jessica finds the perfect witchy dress & decides the Unicorns will host a “Monster Ball” with an SVH band. Liz makes friends with Kala, a Native American girl in town for the month. Fowler Enterprises has two potential sites for their spooky party— a ramshackle cabin on Sleepy Hollow that they fix up. But when they find artifacts & remains (plus a seance later), Kala helps save the property!

The first #SweetValleyHalloween of the #SVT series! Just before the holiday, Nora Mercandy moves to a mansion on Camden Dr— its crumbling appearance already circulate & it‘s not long before everyone is convinced Nora is a real witch! Only Elizabeth warmly welcomes her—& Lila gets into a real feud with her! At Lila‘s party, it all comes to a head. Jessica convinces the others to overcome their fears & they learn the truth about the Mercandy family!

In this 7th (& final!) #SweetValleyHalloween for the second grade class, they go on a field trip to a pumpkin patch only 10 minutes from the Wakefield house. Jessica‘s convinced it‘s haunted & that Ms. Cratchet is a real witch! No costumes this time, but there‘s a fun pumpkin decorating contest. Jessica turns hers into Cinderella & Elizabeth‘s becomes the coach! When Jessica accidentally smashes Liz‘s pumpkin, she overcomes her fear of the patch!

It‘s the sixth #SweetValleyHalloween and this time, the Wakefield twins host their entire second-grade class for a spooky party. When Winston dares to steal the spotlight from Jessica by telling a werewolf story, Jessica makes up a Wakefield gold-mining ghost story. She also starts a bit of a prank war to prove that girls aren‘t fraidy cats. More fake bugs are put to good use! The twins dress as spooky skeletons!

It‘s the 5th #SweetValleyHalloween & the elementary school is having a costume contest and parade for the grand re-opening of the Stardust Theatre. The Magnificent Magico, a puppeteer, is in town along with his daughter, Sam. She wants to be more involved in her dad‘s life, but he seems to want to leave her behind with Mrs. Creely, Lila‘s neighbor! Fun costumes in this one like the twins‘ two-headed sea monster, Lila as Dorothy, & Winston a joker!

It‘s the fourth #SweetValleyHalloween of the #SVK series and the class is headed on a field trip to the Enchanted Forest theme park. Charlie Cashman won‘t stop teasing Jessica about a spooky goblin haunting the park. She‘s feeling braver after battling her nightmares, she‘s still a little apprehensive. But she gets her own by teasing Charlie back that he has a crush on her! Plus more costumes are mentioned—Liz is the Penguin & Jessica a mermaid!

The third #SweetValleyHalloween has Elizabeth dressed as Sherlock Holmes, Jessica a cheerleader & Caroline Pearce a witch. In the days leading up to Halloween, everyone starts to think the nosy redhead may be a real witch— she‘s predicting the future & they spy on her using a broom with a cauldron bubbling on the stove! When they dump water on Caroline, they expect her to melt away! Caroline doesn‘t, but she does win the costume contest!
