I‘m really enjoying this book, and this photo was too pretty not to share!
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.

Holy shit. I always discounted star trek novels but I was WRONG. This shows amazingly Cardassia recovering from the dominion war and has beautiful stories of Bajoran culture finding a new home on Cardassia. The plot is fun too and is directly in involved with the Cardassian intrigue of how to move forward as a nation. Multiple kidnappings and how do they all connect to Garak who is SO WELL WRITTEN. I cannot recommend enough to Star Trek fans.
"Nobody will be immune from prosecution," said the castellan of Cardassian Union, a man whose hands were drenched in blood.
The author of this book watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit, then sat down to write and asked himself "What if the bad guy was Judge Doom and the good guy was Judge Doom but a cop?" You gotta stop hittin' people with anvil hands...
I was going to hop on here to give the writing a hard time (really, graceful AND gracefully in the same sentence??) but he just called Garak the Cardassian prince of fashion, so it's not all bad.
This was my final book of 2020. It took me a while to get into it, but I liked the ending a LOT. This brought my yearly total to 45 books and wrapped up #ProgressITDecember.
Also, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
