Still caching up on #readjanuary Why am I so busy?!?! So this book is #setinmycountry the village I'm from is to tiny to be the setting of any book (but the origional version of Hex is set in the village next to it! ) This book is set in Amsterdam, I don't live the (fortunately, I dislike that city) but I know ik quite well and have some friends living there. I always feel strange when a book is set in a place I'm very familiair with.
Branwen I love the cover! And the tea looks super yummy. I keep seeing this book and wanting to try it, but I haven't really heard many thoughts on it, one way or the other 8y

I-read-and-eat @Branwen @scripturient The tea is yummy indeed! But the book is so-so. I expected more of it as it builds up quite some mystery and suspense but than the unravelling is a huge let down. It was ok, but I would advise getting it at a library or cheap second hand. 8y
