pickAn incredible read. This remains one of my favorite stories about vampires. The pacing is economical, the "stakes" feel real, and the characters are largely compelling - especially in the case of Mark Petrie. There's a reason I keep coming back to Salem's Lot. 5/5. #ReadKing
pickLittle man is killing it with his new day care routine so I finally sat down to finish this short story!
I'm not sure how I feel about it. Most of the story is a bit tedious but that ending....wow! I'm still a little confused but wasn't expecting that at all.

I was just mentioning yesterday that I wanted to watch the original 'Salem's Lot and then complained to hubs that I couldn't find it anywhere. He just came home with a present! Our Walmart has next to nothing for movies do what are the odds?? It's too late tonight but I'm diving in by the weekend.

pickMy first #ReadKing book is complete! This is a reread for me and a very low pick. Probably just above the "meh" stage. I've always liked this story and it's a quick read but there are just So. Many. Words! That's King for you though ?♀️
The colours in this edition just go great with this picture and the fire/water contrast are perfect!
