Recently listened to the podcast Beyond Suspicion interesting that she went and got the professionals in for advice, it was good.
Started reading More Me With You by Alex Bertie so far quite interesting.

An Unkindness of Ghosts | Rivers Solomon

I enjoyed this book, but it's more dystopian than I typically enjoy. The world-ship & society are vividly portrayed, & characters are interesting. It's not an easy read, set in a space society where black slavery is alive and well. I enjoyed having a neuro-atypical protagonist & LGBTQ+ characters. Warnings for suicide, rape, abuse, mental illness, and others. #lgbtqauthors #lgbtq #scifi #queerbook #pocauthors #bipoc

A bittersweet look at coming of age as a lesbian woman in a country where homosexuals face the risk of imprisonment or being murdered by mob violence. Okparanta does a good job of showing the inner lives and communal relationships of those who shape Ijeoma‘s life.

Ava and Jules just broke up. So of course they get paired up on a quest to retrieve a shopper who‘s entered a portal to an alternate dimension. Short, fun, adventurous, sad, and hopeful all at once. A short read, though sometimes it feels longer. Another book gently mocking IKEA and offering sharp eyed commentary on capitalism, retail, accountability, and love.

I picked this up in a book store a while back and thought it looked like an interesting resource for someone like me who has no easy descriptors for her sexuality. It's given me some ideas, and some things to think about. I'm still working on it, but I've learned a lot about other sexualities and identieis in the meantime! The writing was highly accessible. #lgbt #lgbtq #lgbtbook #queerbook 🖤🤍💜

I suspect this book will have some hard ups and downs, so I‘ll probably read the whole thing now instead of later. Made it to their discussion of gendered language and how it‘s meant to be more freeing, so one person‘s use of language for themselves won‘t match someone else‘s like how they identify as transgender and they, and have been told by some trans people that they aren‘t trans because they‘re they. #lgbtq #nonfiction #queerbook
