This is a perfect book for environmental studies. Specifically, I would use this book when teaching about Earth Day. Very insightful to show how much waster we produce and why it's important to take care of our Earth.
pickChildren will love listening to this book. It great to teach about our environment and the importance of keeping our Earth clean. The book also includes very informative pictures and diagrams that children will find eye opening.
so-soWhile we loved Little Sunflower, Little Acorn and Little Snowflake - Little Comet fell short for us. The others are quite educational as you learn about the life cycle of the sunflower, acorn and snowflake. It didn't feel that there was as much learning in this book but you do get to zoom through space as a comet and learn the planets on the way. Our three year old clearly enjoys the illustrations!
