Good Morning my lovely Litsy fam!

It‘s a beautiful day to have a great day☺️ Thank you to everyone who posted #PetsandRecs to help cheer me up. Yesterday was probably the hardest day since loosing my mom, but you guys helped me through it.

I‘m starting the day off right, today. Me and the boys are relaxing and enjoying the new carpet we put on the balcony last night. I‘m going to finish my coffee and then I‘m heading out for a morning walk. ♥️

Here are the cats and if you‘re looking for something light and enjoy mysteries, I‘d recommend the Cherringham Cozy Crime series on Audible. Also, Jim Gaffigan and David Sedaris are extremely funny. Bossy Pants by Tina Fey and The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher are both good.

I loved that this audiobook was read by the author, whom I loved watching on both Parenthood and Gilmore Girls 😊😊 She‘s funny and the book is a great listen! Would‘ve totally been a different experience had I read it. 😄

Clwojick I am a huge fan of both of her shows as well! ♥️ I loved this one! I was thinking of her other book which I had a hard time getting into to... but I still might do a reread of this one on audio. (edited) 5y

sammisho My almost 13 yo daughter is a gilmore girls book and wants to read this. Is there anything that wouldn't be appropriate for an impressionable preteen girl? 5y

laur89 @sammisho from what I can remember, there was only one part that discussed nudity, but in the line of “this was Hollywood business at the time I first started acting” - besides that, I can‘t think of anything else. There was a ton of great behind the scenes/background story info about Lauren Graham and her acting career! 5y

This is a great #audiobook. Funny, touching, short. Kind of a female, Persian David Sedaris. Perfect pick-me-up! 👌🏻 I hope you feel better soon.

How about a nerdy kid story? My daughter was so excited today over receiving the box with her new schoolbooks she squealed, then grabbed her bee spelling book, hugged it, and twirled in glee. 5y

marleed I hope your spirits lift soon. An historical fiction audiobook I loved was Swans of Fifth Ave. it had me googling all the characters to find out more about their real lives. A look into high society women of the 40s and 50s - before social media. It‘s a fun listen. 5y

KathyWheeler Both my husband and I love the look on your cat‘s face! It‘s such a cat look. 😄 it‘s about dogs, but I liked Dave Barry‘s Lessons From Lucy; it‘s short and light (in most places) and Barry does a good job narrating his book. 5y
