Oh I loved this one ❤️ the first part made me feel quite nostalgic, a lot was my 80s life -except obviously in Liverpool.
The second part was 💔 but so well written.
Thank you Cindy 😘

TrishB @BarbaraBB I had waves of nostalgia in the first half that were really emotional! At that point in 1986 I was living in one of the poorest areas in the U.K. (Europe) and life was exactly like that. I vowed to get out but that person is always still there. Music, books, politics and friends ♥️ 3y
Cathythoughts Sounds like a wonderful read for you ❤️ 3y
shawnmooney Oooh I have had this one on my TBR for quite some time. I think I‘ll have to bump it way up almost to the top! And I‘m going to heart-bomb a certain @Cinfhen here too, just because. (If I can still remember how to do this stuff on Litsy… :-) 3y
Cinfhen Hi 👋 @shawnmooney 😘😘 #MyFirstAndOnlyLitsyCrush 🥰🥰🥰Hope all is well 3y
shawnmooney @Cinfhen Much better now...thanks to you! 😍 3y
TrishB @shawnmooney I really enjoyed it. 3y
TrishB @Cathythoughts it definitely was. 3y
CarolynM I grew up in a suburb almost entirely populated by migrants from the poorest parts of the U.K. Even though I'm on the other side of the world that first part, and the way it informed the second, was entirely relatable. As you say, music, books, politics, friends❤️ 3y
