4. My grandparents-they forced me to read every summer. Then my middle school forced us to read.

7. Maybe a week. But, I've gone months without reading due to school.
8. Read 20 books next month...any other suggestions?

The_Heeler_Booklife @Jess7 I actually have 37 unread books on my bookshelf and a few audiobooks on my phone that are unread. 😬 I was meaning any other suggestions for challenges for me to do. I ran out of words. But, thanks though and I love book recs still (love ya, fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, and contemporary is okay). 7y

Jess7 Ohh I'm guilty of having an ever growing TBR shelf of kindle books :-) but I still choose new ones I hear about. 🤓 that is probably why I rarely make a dent in my TBR owned books. 😂 I don't read a lot of sci fi, but I've heard good things about this one.

The_Heeler_Booklife @Jess7 I forgot I also like dystopian as well. My husband hates when I buy more books or get an ebook or audiobook from overdrive or cloudlibrary. Plus, I just subscribed to audible. My goal is to listen to 2-3 audiobooks a week and read 3-4 books a week in August. 7y

Jess7 Most of the books I read or listen to come from my library. I like overdrive for Ebooks and audio from my library. Then the second most of my books are amazon kindle ebook deals, but my library is pretty good about wait times so I try to save money by utilizing it the majority of the time. 7y

The_Heeler_Booklife @Jess7 my library is very baby and doesn't respect holds anymore, so I usually buy books from Thriftbooks or Abebooks since I can get more books for a certain amount of money. I have an old library card to a different library from a different state and I use it for their online library so that helps a lot. 7y

1. Honeymoon- We took a 2 week road trip from OK up through IL to PA to Niagra Falls, Canada and then did it all again in reverse.

4. My parents and my grandparents. They used to read to me every night, take me to the library all the time, and buy me lots of books. When I was 7 and we moved from PA to OK my grandparents recorded themselves reading bedtime stories from my fav books so I could listen every night.

monkeygirlsmama @readinginthedark It really was! But I didn't listen to them nearly as often as they'd hoped I would because they made me cry and miss my grandparents that much more. This was back in the 80s when long distance phone calls were still expensive and I couldn't even call them up and talk to them when feeling blue. 😢 7y

readinginthedark I get that! I feel as though I talk to family members a lot more now, either via phone or social media, because it's cheaper and easier. 7y

Sha0102 I couldn't finish The god of small things... though it's one of my best friend's favorites. Maybe I wasn't in the mood. I intend to try again someday cause it was beautifully written but the plot didn't catch me. 📚😒 7y
