I love the pictures in this book.
I really enjoy reading this book. It is such a classic about imagination and creativity.
This is a great photo to represent the art in this book. The textures, dimensions, high saturation, and fun colors in the art is like eye candy.
“Flowers can‘t talk”
“Of course we can talk,” said Rose
“If there is anyone worth talking to,” added Iris
I love this quote, its silly and one of my favorite parts of the story. When Alice discovers the flowers can talk after hearing a whisper
Jon Scieska retell of Walt Disney‘s Alice in Wonderland. The draws seem like oil pastels, bringing in lots of fun colors and and fun drawings within. The illustrations have different textures giving the art a good dimension. The artwork alone draws the reader in along with the classic story of Alice. One of my favorite stories! A good read!
I‘ve long been a Mary Blair fan (even before I knew who she was - I was a huge Cinderella fan as a kid) - Brittney Lee, who is an artist currently working for Disney takes on the illustration for this book - and 😍😍😍
#DearDecember Day 27: Now here is a real #CharacterWithFlair as the title suggests. I like how Mary Blair‘s family background was still highlighted in this narrative, and her fascination with colours, and how her parents sacrificed a great deal to provide her with support for her talent.
