I‘m late to the party but wanted to play!
1. Yes! I started reading at age 4/5. In 4th- it was all the nancy drew series. 5th- all stephen King Cujo freaked me out 🤨! 6th- WWII books like Mein Kampf. I was an advanced reader. Needed to know my grandma‘s history.
2. scented stickers, Hello Kitty stationary, Bonny Bell lip balm, Gilligan‘s Island & always reading!
3. Elvis Presley died, Ronald Reagan assassination attempt, AIDS Crisis.

Oh, this is going to date me!
1. I loved reading. I begged to go to the library.
2. Beverly Hillbillies, Saturday Night at the Movies—this was long before cable, much less Netflix.

4. Tagged was first of a series I remember, but, other than this series, Nancy Drew, and of course Little Women, it‘s too long ago to remember many.

1. I think I‘ve been reading since forever, how‘s that? I loved the Nancy Drew series. Also Harriet the Spy, Ramona the Pest, some Judy Blume & William Steig. 📚

1) I began reading after 8, when Enid Blyton books turned me literate. Between 8 - 12, I read Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Famous Five, Secret Seven, St Clare's/ Malory Towers, Ramona and Sweet Valley High, to name a few.
2) Carebears, Smurfs, M.A.S.K, riding the bicycle
3) There was a local disaster - collapse of Hotel New World
