I have always loved reading. I have been able learn so much through the pages over the years. It has been a source of escape when reality sucks, and a source of joy to share with others. I even met my wife because of our mutual love of reading. Litsy has helped expand my reading choices, and kept me from slumping too bad over the last 2 years. Hopefully 2019 is even better.

I agree with @LazyDays . I joined Litsy last March and I'm so thankful for this community.
Books and reading mean so much to me. It's my escape from reality and sometimes a push into reality. It gives me a place to be lost in.

I'm a newbie on Litsy, but I am loving this warm, smart, bookish community already. Feels like I've found "my people"!

I have loved reading all my life. Reading enables us to see life through multiple perspectives throughout time and space. Experiences both real and fantastic are captured. Through reading, we are limitless and a little less alone. What's not to love? ❤?

I haven't been able to read as much as I want lately, but it's so nice even I can. And I can't wait until I can read again to a little one 💗

This book needs to be read by those of us in our comfortable western lives who are dogmatic about who should come to our country and how. It‘s truly a beautiful book. A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌛from me. #LitsyLove19

Reading is special because it gives me the pleasure of immersing myself in many worlds..worlds and places I wouldn‘t have the chance and imagination to travel in real life. In reading I also gain knowledge and entertainment. Reading is also a therapy for me.

I've always felt like reading could really take me places and open my mind to experiences of the world that I may not have otherwise had. I come from a small town in Arkansas so diversity and opportunity are scarce. Reading can really be transformative!
