#LiteralBookends from my Unread/Random Nonfiction Bookshelf.
I‘ve got less than 2 hours left on my #24in48 and I‘m in a weird spot. I‘m tired of the books I‘m reading and not ready to start another. 🤷🏼♀️ I‘ll push through somehow!

Hour 42 Challenge: Literal Bookends! Here are my first and last books on my book shelves. I organize my books by genre, YA/Middle Grade, Classics, Historical Fiction, Horror, Literary Fiction, Mystery/Thriller, Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Each genre is organized alphabetically by author. @24in48 #24in48 #readathon #literalbookends
My bookshelves are a hot mess right now! I recently moved into a new house and I‘m still in the process of organizing my library. These are the first and last books of one of my shelves. Clearly, I‘m not going for alphabetical by author 😂 #literalbookends #24in48 #challengepost
My #literalbookends - I have sorted most of my books alphabetically, but I have separate shelves for non-fiction, poetry, pretty editions and graphic/illustrated novels. 📚

Check in for #24in48 😃
I have 5 bookshelves in 3 different rooms... one is my forever shelf of books I‘ve read and kept because I love them, another shelf that is half keepers and half tbr, and the rest are (sadly) full of books yet to be read. There is no rhyme or reason to the order of the books on each shelf. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. 😂
Above are first book on my forever shelf and last book on my tbr shelves.

Here are my #literalbookends from my "no organisation" shelf, usually I shelve by size and/or publisher but anything goes in this baby. Here we have a Goldsmiths prizewinner and and a second-hand volume of Russian short stories my mum got me for Christmas @24in48 #24in48
#literalbookends #24in48 hour 36 of the #readathon Love this prompt!

My bookshelves start off with some non-fiction, mostly old books from college, and the first book is The Norton Anthology (even though it's fiction) and my shelves end in fiction with he last book, The Secret Life of Bees.
Hour 36 challenge of #24in48 was #literalbookends - the first and last book on your bookshelf! This is only one of my shelves, housing fiction and biography and memoir.
I‘m getting the itch to reorganize my shelves - I keep thinking I should break it up into more specific genres, but it works for now!
11 hours down. And here, for the hour 36 #24in48 challenge, I present the first and last books in my bookshelf. #firstandlast #literalbookends
