I would also have taken a picture of the copy I own, but right now I have one kitten at my feet and the other under my chair. Less than a yard between them. Yes, both are growling (?) but none is chasing the other.

My Little Pony: Ponyville Reading Adventures | Hasbro

Just realised I never posted this Andria loved her #jryulebookswap she dug through everything I had to make her slow down and didn't get pics of some of it because she had already eat it while I gathered things for the pic. The bookmarks not in the picture where her favorites she put the right in the books we are reading.

Sorry we havnt been on much but we lost are uncle at thanksgiving and have just been busy getting through the holidays.

EchoLogical I‘m so glad she liked everything but feel like crap because we sent so little. 😭😭😭 We just got back home last night and The Kid loved everything so much. I had to stop her from opening everything at once because we got in so late. I‘ll post pictures soon. Thank you guys for everything. It really made her day because she was feeling down about leaving our family. 7y

litmuggle Oh don't feel bad we just love to give plus most of the books came from a bargain store by us I promise we didn't spend a lot I'm just a value shopper. The rainbow fairest is from her shelf she wanted to pass them and the whatever after girls on. We broke some thing she hand made that during dry in time so another will be on the was once it cures. We just do it for the fun she enjoyed putting jelly bears box together so much. 7y

Leniverse That's a great resolution! Part of my plan too. I need to read more Sandman. And I need to reread Good Omens before the tv-show. And I think it's time to reread Neverwhere as well. Oh, and my daughter got Odd and the Frost Giants in the #jryulebookswap so I'm swiping that as soon as she's finished. 😄 7y

Stardust

Leniverse I saw Stardust before I read the book too. And while I like the book I prefer the movie. Especially Robert de Nero's character. He is barely present in the book. (Just as a word of warning.) Also, it is so clearly inspired by the work of Lord Dunsany, and no writer ever comes well out of a comparison with Dunsany. But it's still worth reading. (And if you like the writing style try Dunsany next!) 7y

Andrew65 @Leniverse Thanks for the advice. Robert De Niro did steal the film with that performance! Had me in stitches. Will have to try some Dunsany as never tried any of his work. It clearly provided a good base for the film. Over Audible‘s 12 days of Christmas I downloaded Norse Mythology for 99p so I want to listen to that too. 7y

Leniverse I haven't tried his Norse Mythology. I've heard it's very well done, but as a Norwegian it just feels a bit wrong to read anything Norse in English. For Dunsany I recommend

The Bubble Boy | Stewart Foster

Axton opened his #jryulebookswap package this morning before heading off to school. I didn't get a picture of him with it, but he was super excited. Look at all the wonderful gifts from Australia! A puzzle of Australia, a bunch of treats, a pencil bag and stickers, two bookmarks, a book holder and two books. He wanted to read the 13 stores treehouse first and can't wait to try the treats. Ender's Game | Orson Scott Card

Thank you Tristan and @mdm139 for Nathan‘s #jryulebookswap gift. He loves everything. He dug right into the Superstars of Science book. He is considering reading Ender‘s Game for an upcoming school project. He just wishes it wasn‘t 400 pages-ugg that‘s my reluctant reader! The puzzle books are perfect for him.
