Farmer's market this morning! 💕🍎🍓 Got my usual tea and apple cider donuts! Luckily there was a bench that was free so I was able to sit and read too!

I first read this book (and the other two in the trilogy) years and years ago! And it has always stuck with me, because I really do have a soft spot for a book about books! 🤭 Since Cornelia Funke is coming out with a new book in the series this fall, I figured now would be a fun time to revisit the series! 💕📖
Of course it also helps that they redesigned the covers and I absolutely adore them!
I have a 4 day weekend starting TODAY! 🥰 I'm so happy! I may have wandered downtown into the new bookstore again! Oops! 🤭📚📚📚 Also, iced jasmine tea is absolutely heavenly in this warm weather! 💕
I'm so happy to be alive! ☀️
Also, as I've been sitting here with my tea and book stack I have directed 3 different people to the bookstore after they asked me about all the books on my table! 😂
Thought I‘d jump on the #CoverLove bandwagon for July! I really enjoyed this when I read it back in 2007. Might be time for a reread!♥️📕

Low pick. I found the story interesting and the characters compelling, but I just had the hardest time picking it back up (some of that is literal, but I‘m seeing the rheumatologist this week for joint pain🤞🏻). It‘s hefty for sure. Meggie gets pulled into an adventure involving her father and some villains he accidentally pulled out of a book nine years earlier. Danger and misfortune ensue.
Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke is a thrilling conclusion to the Inkworld trilogy. The immersive world-building and intricate plot kept me hooked till the very end. The characters are vibrant and the stakes are high, making for a gripping adventure. Highly recommend! #Inkdeath #CorneliaFunke #BookReview #MustRead #Adventure #Fantasy #InkworldTrilogy #PageTurner #Bookworm #BookLove #BookNerd #BookAddict #BookObsessed #Bookish #BookCommunity
What is it with me, and the need to give secondhand books a new home? 👀
I started the Inkheart trilogy decades ago but never got around to finishing it. It was probably due to the fact that Scholastic fairs weren't as accessible after I finished high school, and local bookstores stopped having Cornelia Funke books among their stocks. 😐
But over the weekend, a local online bookseller put their copy up for sale, and I couldn't pass it up!
