pickI've owned this book for over 10 years and just read it for the first time. I knew all along I would love it, but I needed to wait until the right moment. It was a perfect book. Part love letter, part lament, this history-memoir of Lakewood, CA, made me miss the sprawling expanse of my favorite city. #IloveLA
