I don‘t read a lot of food related books, but I really enjoyed this one. The recipes are mouth watering and the plot bizarre in the best possible way. I‘d love to try these dishes, but the preparations are rather elaborate and I really don‘t feel like force feeding a turkey an increasing number of walnuts for a fortnight and then killing it.

I‘m not a huge cook, but if we can include #drinkrelatedbooks this is by far my favourite!
We spent New Year‘s eve a couple of years ago making as many drinks from this book as we could handle 🍹🎆🎉

In middle school I fell in love with this series, so much so I used to try to make the recipes in the back or even just write them down in my journal (I was borrowing the books at the time). Thanks to this Hour 36 challenge I remembered all about it! Adding to my TBR to re-read and finish the series. Maybe even have a cook off with my daughter.

Vintage Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales is the oldest children's book I own. The cover isn't intact but the book itself is in great condition 😄

The Complete Brambly Hedge is one of the books I have had since a child. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed, and the stories are sweet. I‘m pretty sure it was on the TV for a little while too... ☺️
