This book was amazing! It was so much nerdy fun to revisit this election and get the views from insiders from all of the various campaigns. The only downer is that I had this book several days before the election while finishing it a couple of days on the other side of Election Day…those Obama years where progressive thought we turned a corner seem so far away…no offense to those on the other side of the political spectrum.

This wasn‘t an entirely flattering portrayal of Hillary, but I feel like I know her better. And respect her for what she has accomplished and where she fell short. I think the author feels the same. Made a great audiobook narrated by Amy!

@TheBookHippie and I have been on a similar wavelength today. She posted two fabulous songs that I had never heard of re: HC's speech last night. I've been watching/listening all morning to this one by Kate McKinnon and wondering what might have been but thrilled that “the future is here.“ 🩶🖤🩶

Review of Jodi Picoult‘s audiobook CHOICE (not title tagged since Litsy doesn‘t have): PICK.

What if cis-gender identifying males were the only humans (suddenly!) to have a uterus? (I think that is the accurate question considered here.)

Reminds me of once asking my husband what he would think if he saw only women in (favorite) movies and on television (ie ESPN) - he told me not to be ridiculous. His brain couldn‘t even comprehend.

This book brought me right back to the 2008 election and all of the mess that went down against women in the US election. I would love to see an update. #NFN21

I woke up yesterday to dark and miserable rain, and I thought my streak of beautiful weekday podcast walks was over. I put on my rain boots and headed to work with a lot of self talk about making do. No need though as it was bright and sunny again by the time I got home. I‘m enjoying the tagged audiobook, and listened to the pictured podcast on my walk.

Today I learned the concept of a home garden mission statement.
