I‘ve been absent for a long time… this has been what has pulled me. I‘m attempting to learn Hebrew!
I‘ve been in a different place since I had surgery again this past November. Cancer has been difficult to battle and my latest chemo treatment has been by far the worst. So distracting myself with something complicated has been good for me. I miss everyone and this community so I‘m going to try to get to being active again, 💕📚💕

Nili,the daughter of an archaeologist,thinks she can find the Ark of the Covenant,too bad it‘s no longer on Israeli territory.With the help of clever Gedanken & his hilltop youths,businessman Abuloff who buys artefacts from Isis,the IDF&2 Palestinians, she digs a tunnel that will hopefully lead to the Ark before her brother& Prof Sarid,the bad guy,get to it first. Modan published this before October 7,during the pandemic. Funny&thought-provoking.

Admittedly in real life it‘s grey and rainy outside, and piled sky high with laundry and dishes inside, but in the world of my aspirational mood board it‘s all roaring fires and twinkling lights. I definitely plan to live in my imaginary world as long as possible!
