It did gave me another look on the genre, because it's not purely horror, but with mystery and thriller as well! This book will release in a few days! Definitely the most terrifying YA I've read, which occurred within two days locked in my bedroom, holding my breath. Friends to whom I've recommended it still report how a full moon can make them really nervous or that they have nightmares about canned food caches. This was one of my favorite scary books as a teen. It was from a series of books called "Choose your own adventure", where you took decisions that led you to different endings. I loved to collect this little books and in this one you had to solve the mystery of a lost medallion in a haunted mansion in Scotland.
