Best plot twist ever. Prisoner of Azkaban yanks Harry, Ron and Hermione out of their illusion of safety and thrusts them into the menacing side of their shiny magical world. No one is who they appear to be. The good guy is discovered abetting the bad guy; the bad guy may not be who he seems. Whom can - and should- you trust?
My favorite of the series.

#riotgrams Day 15 I know there are mixed feelings about this one but I really liked Gone Girl and the twist. This is not my husband's kind of book, but he read the synopsis online so he could tease me as I read. 😂 #favoritetwist #catchinguponphotochallenges

I never saw what was coming the first time I read Rebecca. #favoritetwist #riotgrams

monkeygirlsmama I don't think I've ever read this. My spelling is different, but I am a Rebekah. Therefore, it seems like maybe I should add this to my list to look for. 🙃Plus I'm liking this cover. 7y
Bookwormjillk This book is so creepy. Love it. 7y

Throwback to the first thriller I read. My brother and I loved the twist, my parents hated it, and we'll never forget it. #FavoriteTwist #Riotgrams

ptkpepe98 I had forgotten about that one. Nice and creepy good. 😱 7y
monkeygirlsmama This was my first Ted Dekker book, but not my first thriller. That said, I loved it. 7y

Day 15 of #riotgrams : It is virtually impossible to surprise me with plot twists, making today's theme a particular challenge. Luckily, DH noticed the spine decoration of How to Start a Fire. Presto—a twist! Also luckily, being twist-resistant doesn't diminish my love of mysteries. #favoritetwist #booklover

#riotgrams day 15 - #favoritetwist

Palahniuk is kinda synonymous with twists, like the Shyamalan of good writing. The only problem with twists, especially good and effective ones, is that you'll often know they're coming just from the cultural conversation ("Don't let anyone tell you how it ends" etc.) My advice: read as fast as possible and don't think about anything too hard the first time through.
