The weather here has been nuts, and although I'm not a winter person, our lack of winter weather here in Texas is making me wish for colder climates! #readjanuary #dreamingofacolderclimate #vmc #vintageinternational

Set in Ireland in 'brutal cold' (first page), I'm so looking forward to this one but don't know if it's a summer beach read ... #ReadJanuary #dreamingofacolderclimate
This year I am #DreamingOfAColderClimate
The weather here has been cold at times, warmer at others, but I would like a little bit of snow before winter is over ☃️❄️

With hot days like this I'm dreaming (reading) of a colder climate!

Well, I don't know that I'm exactly #dreamingofacolderclimate, but Russia certainly would qualify if I were. #readjanuary Day 6
#dreamingofacolderclimate Actually I've been dreaming of a snowier climate and today I got lucky. It's snowing!!! ❄️❄️❄️ #readjanuary @RealLifeReading
Yesterday I was #dreamingofacolderclimate and today I am reading while on my train to work and everything is dusted by snow ❄😀 Not yet the full blown winter I am hoping for but Mother nature must have read my post yesterday 😉I even went outside last night to walk in the fresh snow.
I guess it's good that I forgot to post for #dreamingofacolderclimate because this is also my choice for #booksaboutnature ! Although I'm not so much dreaming of a colder climate, I suppose--rather, a different perspective? This book was recommended to me by my aunt, and I've decided to read the almanac portion of the essays with each month (so this picture is from "January"). I'm finding this book really beautiful and fascinating! #readjanuary
Today's read for book club tied nicely with the #readjanuary prompt, #dreamingofacolderclimate. Genly Ai is envoy to a planet known (aptly) as Winter. The people on Winter do not have genders as we perceive them. I found this book thought-provoking and extremely timely, as it delves into personhood, bias, prejudice, story, patriotism (and its perversion), and the flaws in our perceptions. Le Guin is, as always, brilliant. ❄️❄️❄️❄️ (4/5 blizzards)
I'm not #DreamingOfAColderClimate, but this book was close at hand, and I'm assuming Russia is pretty chilly this time of year. #ReadJanuary
