GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit oh, I finished on the 22nd. I‘m on my second read through, and I‘m not sure I want to go beyond where I am now… I know the battle I‘m at is when the Aretian ward stone gets properly fired, but then it just goes downhill SO fast after that. I‘m not sure I‘m ready. 1w

Chrissyreadit I‘m wondering who else was a traitor with Panchek (Kaori???) and also that means Pancheks dragon is a traitor to the empyrean!?!? 1w

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit right? Panchek definitely raises MANY questions. I think Dain‘s father has turned. I also wonder what is happening within the Empyrean now that Pachek has been outed. Then again, Sygeal is keeping the same secret, too. The next book, and I‘m guessing a lot of the final book, are going to be a hard road to hoe. 1w

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit did you see the interview where someone asked if she would write a history of Navarre, and her response was something about how would we know if it was accurate? Then multiple people in the audience said “if Jesinia wrote it,” and RY covered her mouth and chuckled? Seriously, it‘s making EVERYONE wonder what on earth we are reading if we can‘t trust Jesinia? I swear, it‘s getting harder and harder to know who to trust around here! 1w

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit Bodhi is going to stay with Xaden out of loyalty if he hasn‘t changed (which leads me to believe that maybe they are going somewhere to either find a solution [mommy dearest?] or hide Xaden from the higher ups… which is why he HAD to marry Vi, so Aretia doesn‘t go to someone else who will fall in line with Navarre when they shouldn‘t. Vi will hold the fort the way Xaden would… and will let civilians in. 🤯🤯🤯 1w

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit plus, that means Bodhi knows where to find Vi (as a general rule) if he had to kill her to kill Xaden. It better not get to that. How is the a HEA? GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit yeah, I was thinking 4-5 years. Part of me wants to wait until the last book comes out and then binge… but we all know I will be on the next one the second I can get my hands on it. 1w

Butterfinger Okay, I agree with all you said, but Jack is also considered a brother. My off-the-wall theory is panchek somehow got jack released by telling the same Sage of Jack and Xaden. Garrick was weakening because he did his distance power so many times. He may have turned in order to save more people, like Imogen. Wasn't Dain also considered missing? Have we been told what Bodhi's second signet is? 1w

GingerAntics @Butterfinger he never admitted to having a second one. He may have one, but he may not. Only some of the marked ones have two. Xaden said that the marked ones had second signets often enough that Kaori can‘t have accurate records, but not so often that anyone questions why he “doesn‘t” have a second one. Bodhi hints that he “doesn‘t have one” just like Xaden. We never hear what it is, unless it‘s in the last 11% of the book. I‘ll keep an eye out. 1w

Chrissyreadit @Butterfinger I‘m pretty sure Jack is Berwyns son, but there could always be another plot twist- I think that is why Jack was treated differently. I agree Garrick may have turned to save people. But now i‘m thinking if the brown dragons death means one of them died and is among the dead riders, or one of them turned to avoid dying with the dragon….. or neither of these is a possibility too. 1w

GingerAntics @Chrissyreadit oh, that‘s right. No one knows Xaden has a second signet by Vi. So when he said I don‘t have a second signet, just like Xaden, he‘s not giving a trained answer. That‘s his legit answer. He must not have a second one. 1w

Butterfinger @Chrissyreadit @GingerAntics I have to look up the page, but xaden tells Violet all marked ones have second signets. Or it could have been Garrick when they fought Theophanie. So when brodhi told Violet, I thought it implied that they both knew he was lying. 1w

Butterfinger @Chrissyreadit @GingerAntics I read a theory last night that Berwyn used to be Brennan's boyfriend and turned to save Brennan. That blew my mind because it never occurred to me that Brennan would have to siphon power to heal himself like he used Sloane. 1w

GingerAntics @Butterfinger I saw that as well. It‘s possible. If Brennan has never seen him, he wouldn‘t know. If he knew that, I‘d wonder why he hasn‘t said anything yet… then again, exactly which conversation is he supposed to slip that into? Maybe that‘s why he‘s not so worried about Xaden being in the early stages. He‘s been through this before. @chrissyreadit That would potentially take away our thought that why Xaden pulled would be the difference. 1w

Chrissyreadit I feel like Berwyn is too old to be Brennans boyfriend but i do think there is something with naolin and also the rune on brennans hand. maybe he is on borrowed time- or no longer has a soul- although he‘s still channeling from his dragon… @GingerAntics @Butterfinger (edited) 7d
