Spent the day in NYC. My youngest daughter loved the Eloise stories. I always said she was just as active as Eloise. Our highlight today was seeing Eloise at the Plaza.

pickThe moomin display at B&N piqued my curiosity and I went ahead and grabbed some the Moomin series from the library. I read Moominland Midwinter to match the storm outside, but now I‘m following the order of the series. It‘s very charming, but the show Moominvalley (2019) really brought the characters to life for me. I enjoyed some of the 90s episodes too. I was really excited to learn Jansson was queer and that Moomin and Snufkin are queer-coded.
