Tbqh, few things bother me more than deceit. I went back and read the blurb, and it mentioned pregnancy once. This book is roughly 90% about pregnancy and complications plus maternal care and parenting in a pandemic. I listened to just over half and the upcoming chapters were titled to indicate more of the same. As a childfree person, this book didn‘t interest me at all. Others may like this, but I returned it to audible. #BuyerBeware ⬇️
Megabooks I listened to a whole chapter on invisible illness, and it didn‘t talk about invisible illnesses like the ones I have. It was about the invisible difficulties of parenting in a pandemic. How is that healthcare? So disappointing. (edited) 3y
Bookwormjillk Good to know. Interesting topics but certainly not what I would expect from this book. 3y
Megabooks @Bookwormjillk yeah. It wasn‘t poorly written. Just not a book I would‘ve purchased had I known what it was about. 3y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Ugh..that doesn‘t sound like the promising title at all. 3y
fredthemoose Having the text not at all match the description or my expectations based on it is probably the quickest way to get me to turn on a book. 😡 3y
Cinfhen Ugh!!! Very disappointing 3y
squirrelbrain How frustrating 🙄 3y
Megabooks @Riveted_Reader_Melissa not for me it wasn‘t. 😕 3y
Megabooks @fredthemoose truth! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 3y
Megabooks @Cinfhen yes, it didn‘t really apply to me at all. Well written but not accurately blurbed, unfortunately. 3y
