pickThese books are so stupidly addictive… fortunately, they continue to improve as the series goes along. I‘m continuing to alternate between being obsessed with and wanting to smack most of the characters, but if I‘m not reading one of these books, I am still thinking about them. 😬
On to book 4, which has me nervous as my #booksister was shook when she finished it on our reading retreat. 😂

This series is huge on Booktok, and my #booksister has been burning through them, so I had to check it out.
It‘s definitely adult Hogwarts but with fae (+vampires, shifters, sirens etc), sex, and SO MUCH bullying. Seriously these people are mean. It‘s not the best written thing I‘ve ever read, but it‘s far from the worst, too. It‘s addicting as hell and I will be continuing. 😅

I don‘t have words for how awesome my weekend was! @HOTPock3tt and I went to a book lovers retreat at the cutest bed & breakfast. The owners provided us with fantastic meals, ample spots indoors and outdoors to read, music and stories. We made some excellent new book buddies, had great conversations, painted a little, ate a lot, and READ for 3 days.
The best part was finally being with my #booksister in person after years of Litsy friendship!❤️
It has been so fun to keep receiving these Outlander gifts from my #booksister Kenya while we are both making our way through Go Tell the Bees… the book itself is like a huge, long, warm hug and Kenya‘s lovely gifts have only enhanced the experience. 🐝

If only I could convey what a unique EXPERIENCE this was! ❤️it‘s character driven with some of the most fun, intriguing and entertaining characters I‘ve read for a long time. Such an engrossing storyline, it was about more than the blurb tells you: not just about New York. Lots of hilarious scenes! With socially relevant themes too. Bring on book 2! 🙌🏽#AuthorAMonth
