I started 3 books that are still in progress. The first in Gail Carriger's follow up series was my favorite read of September, what's yours? The three to the right were on audiobook, and all fun to listen to. No real pans this month, though I certainly didn't finish everything I started!

I read a lot of great books this month so it was hard to narrow down to just a few favorites. I loved all of these!
The Serpent King was amazing! I mistakenly read a very sad part of the book while eating lunch at work and had to use all my power not to ugly cry into my sandwich.
And the Trees Crept In and The Last Days of Jack Sparks were super creepy and dark. They'd be great spooky October reads! 👻

September has been a very busy month at work, so my reading has definitely been down. As a result, my #bestreadsofseptember are my only reads of September. Hopefully, October will be better for me. #somethingforsept
September was a good month. Managed to finish Moby Dick - yay! - and really liked most of my reads. I did not finish The Interestings - it was boring, ironically. I also did not like The Call of Cthulhu, confirming that horror is not for me. The others were all good. I am happy with the page count, too, and the progress I made on my reading challenges as well - nine books toward two challenges!
