I‘m home again after spending the #bestday(s) with my wonderful friends ❤️ now I‘m trying to get caught up with Litsy, while fighting the urge to nap.
Nadia and Saeed are both #warriorworrier(s) while living in and fleeing from their war filled country. They must make so many life changing decisions, that I can‘t even imagine having to go through.

Yesterday I attended a literary tea party held at a bookstore. We dished up recipes from the tagged book. Imagine eating delicious sandwiches, pastries and cakes from favourite book lands like Narnia, Wonderland, Middle Earth and Sherlockian England surrounded by the books themselves. I made the King Arthur Sword In The Stone Cheese Bites! It was one of the #bestday I had in recent weeks. We had so much fun and food! 😋

pickI‘m swamped!! So NOT the #BestDay but I‘m taking it all in stride🤪I did finish this book earlier today. I‘m glad I read it and overall I found the story & conclusion very satisfying. I think I enjoyed The Sparrow a bit more as this book felt “preachy” & the non linear storytelling was confusing & jarring. I thank my buddy-readers who kept me on track with their lively & insightful discussions which really enriched my reading. #SeptemberDanes
I've had the #BestDay pounding the streets of Brussels looking at art nouveau buildings (including the magnificent Horta House) topped off by spotting this light projection on a building on our way back to our hotel after dinner. #SeptemberDanes
