What do you guys think? Should Barnes and Nobles die or should it be saved? I personally prefer to go to Barnes and Nobles for my hard to find books compared to Amazon. And I like having a rewards program and credit card that helps the book industry!

MidnightBookGirl I have mixed feelings about B&N. I work at an indie bookstore, but I get that paying full price for books is not something everyone can afford. I would rather people shop at B&N over Amazon, and there are towns that don't have indie bookstores so B&N might be their only physical store. Physical bookstores are so important to communities and too many have closed. 6y

Schnoebs @MidnightBookGirl I agree I think going to a physical bookstore is so important and if we lose them idk what we would do. They are so important for communities whether they be indie or B&N 6y

GripLitGrl Would shudder to think of B&N closing there are not many book stores out there to begin with in my area atleast. So if little shops are so few and far & a big company can't make it all my book options would be removed & Amazon dominated i think that would be so sad. 6y

jfalkens I used to love Barnes and Noble but last time I went there they were way overpriced! I buy too many books to pay their prices. 6y

I'm back at home from my New York/Canada trip! Our flight got cancelled and so we had to spent another night in Montreal, then fly to Düsseldorf, then go by bus to Berlin for 7 hours and THEN drive 2 hours to our home. We arrived at 7am and slept for a few hours. Now I have to pack the rest of my stuff because I'll be moving in the next days. I also only finished 2 from my 5 planned books?. #Moxie I got at #BarnesandNobles in the 5th Avenue
