I‘m sad to finish this 7-book post-apocalyptic series but I loved seeing the transformation of each character, the formed relationships, their resilience, and the found-family they discovered amongst each other.

panIt‘s a book I don‘t regret reading but would not really recommend. Good ideas but the writing was lackluster. The dialogue in this book was truly horrendous. pickI ended up packing this as a vacation book to read and devoured it before the plane landed - it was a short book to be fair! But if you‘ve ever read Blake Crouch then you‘re familiar with how immersive his books can be - I just couldn‘t stop reading. It may not have been my favorite of his works but I would recommend it!

True to the Walking Dead vibe mixed with Life After Us, I'm not usually a zombie/gory kind of reader. But there was enough storyline that streamlined in between so it wasn't a turn off.

pickActual doctor walks reader through the great unknown fictional apocalyptic event: Zombies. Wow! So science is explained on the level of potential infections (of actual body parts!). With concurrent UN documentation, it felt more authentic than your straight up ‘zombie!‘ Because it had science. A+ (my biology grade in Zombiology if taken in high school). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
