We've had a hell of a time since moving to Colorado in October 2019. Arrived just in time for winter. Then COVID. Then some of the worst wildfires in state's history. COVID swells again. This spring and summer have been okay, but now huge rains in the burned areas have caused mudslides that have destroyed the main artery through the state (the detour around the canyon takes 3+ hours), and COVID is swelling again... Third dose, anyone? Le sigh 😔

TieDyeDude It hasn't been all bad, though. I got engaged, we bought a house, and we are visiting home in a month to get married. My fiancee is also getting really good at making soft pretzels at home #alwayslookonthebrightsideoflife 3y
DivineDiana So sorry to learn of your Colorado challenges. I visited for the first time in June, and I was in awe of Colorado‘s beauty. So happy that you are now a home owner, and that your nuptials are approaching! Best wishes! (edited) 3y
Bookwormjillk I‘m glad you can look on the bright side. Sounds like you‘ve had quite the time. 3y

SamAnne Congrats! Colorado has been hit hard this year and for the last few years. Hang in there. 3y
erzascarletbookgasm These are tough times for so many people. Great motto to adopt. 🤍 3y
Tera66 It's not all bad here, the weather can always be a challenge though. I'm down near Denver and we have it a bit easier. Hang in there, autumn will be beautiful....but it will probably also snow.😊 3y

For #AlwaysLookOnTheBrightSideOfLife I thought I‘d go for one of the brightest book covers I own (thanks @TrishB 😘). Isn‘t it sunny-looking? One of many books that will DEFINITELY get read in the next few months! #positivethinking #justassoonasovefinishedthetaxreturn

Billypar My current read, and I literally listened to that quote this morning. I am loving it: Frankyl's story and philosophy are so essential to hear. 6y
Billypar Also- this was on my international nonfiction list that I still owe you! My additions to it have stalled of late, but I'll send you what I have so far even if it's still kind of small. 6y
Cinfhen Thank you so much @Billypar I almost forgot but would love to see what you‘ve formed so far. And this book💔My son gifted it to me after he read it. It‘s so relevant as we mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Jan 27 (79 years since the liberation of Auschwitz ) 6y
Bookzombie I stacked this one. This was just mentioned in my current book too. 6y
Cinfhen That sounds interesting @Bookzombie thanks for tagging your current book... 6y
