Fun catchup with a childhood favorite. Such a cute little book for anyone who ever believed in the mosters under the bed. #33-2022

As you can see, Jace really liked this lift-the-flap book. I got it for dirt cheap on Book Outlet, which reminds me — I haven‘t ordered anything from there in awhile but there‘s no time like the present! 😬 4⭐️

There‘s a Monster Under My Bed written by James Howe and illustrated by David Rose. This book a F genre and would be a great S. My students love when I read this book. This book would be great for Halloween. This story is about a boy who thinks there is monsters under the bed and he wished that he had the night light that his mom offered but said no because he was a big boy and didn‘t need it. Read the story to find out if there is a monster...?

AlyssaB An UDL strategy would be 7.3 minimize threats and distractions. An ESOL strategy would be 22 to give enough wait time for second language learners to respond to questions. #UCFLAE3414F19 5y
AlyssaB This resource is a cute activity allowing kids to draw and create what their monster would look like: http://mrsjacksonartbd.weebly.com/art-room-blog/theres-a-monster-under-my-bed 5y
DrSpalding This sounds like it would be a quality storytelling. Wait time is so important. Helpful resource from a practicing teacher. 5y

I first read this book at a reeeeally young age. Like...way to young to be reading it kind of age. I don't think I grasped all of it completely but I do know I went to bed, every single night I was reading it, very #afraid of the shadows in my room and all the things I couldn't see properly in the dark; And I loved that about it. I've been a fan of scary things and freaking myself out ever since. 😊

nelehelen Sounds scaryyyy haha 6y
DeborahSmall Have you read it as an adult? It‘s truly the worst book I‘ve read 😂 a good friend recommended as she loved it when she was really young. On rereading she agreed with me! 6y
