Sometimes my building‘s book exchange really delivers.
What a gem of a book!
I am personally not a fan of positive affirmations. They‘re just not my thing and I find them overly optimistic. Disappointing affirmations are more up my alley so I ended up loving this book.

1/5⭐ Much more informative books on meditation/psychology exist. This one relies heavily on the law of attraction, which blames people for causing their own suffering. It asserts that the reader doesn't need to believe in anything metaphysical but says that the “universe“ will make their visualizations come true (only the positive ones, of course; harmful visualizations are a misunderstanding of karma or something). This book hasn't aged well.
