so-soI didn‘t like our #IndependentWomen #buddyread as much as most others seem to, unfortunately.
The dystopian world never felt even close to plausible, it made really no sense to me.
The second part I caught myself skimming, and rolling my eyes.
Only the third part I did enjoy. Without saying too much, I thought the ending was cool and I loved Jo‘s character and friendships. Looking forward to discussing it on March 5!

jenniferw88 That doesn't bode well for me - I'm not a huge dystopia fan! I blame school for this as my A level coursework involved comparing 1984, Brave New World and The Handmaid's Tale. I didn't like a single one of them! 2y

Lindy How nice to see a shot of Estepona! It was the nearest town to where I was WWOOFing in Spain in 2002… brings back memories. 2y

Lindy @BarbaraBB The farm is called Finca La Mohea and it‘s about 30 km inland from Estepona, in the mountains. The nearest village is Genalguacil. 2y
