So. Thinking about what I‘m going to read for #SeriesLove2023. Saw some holes in some of my series. Checked out Book Outlet. (There‘s a sale!) Found two I needed. Added 4 more to get free shipping! And so it goes. #bookhaul

#TBRtarot.
Been on my shelf for a year or two. It‘s the start of a new series as well for #SeriesLove2023.
Continuation of the wonderful tales of 44 Scotland Street.
Delightful to spend some more time with Bertie and the people connected to 44 Scotland Street, set in Edinburgh. You get a real feel for Edinburgh through the lives of the different characters. Can‘t wait to jump into the next book in the series. Thoroughly recommended.
5th book finished for #JubilantJuly
Hoping to read a bit of this each day, alongside my book of the day as I hope to read 11 books during the #JubilantJuly Readathon
Love this series set in Edinburgh covering the everyday lives of characters connected to 44 Scotland Street
I finished my work lunch read today after several months. Its not that it was a dense read,in fact the opposite, but I very rarely actually do sit and read with a sandwich. Anyway these are very gentle vignettes of middle class Edinburgh life with short sections about the curious characters but a far cry from my normal Edinburgh fayre based on which I would assume that beautiful city to be awash with villains and the police who pursue them.
Hi Littens! I'm cleaning off my bookshelf to make space for some new purchases. This is a book I enjoyed, and I'd love to find it a new home. Just back from watching this fantastic man speak at the local library. Will admit I've only read one book but he was so witty and such a good storyteller I've requested the tagged book.
I was wondering if I could #TurnBackTime and see the first book I added to GoodReads...did not disappoint. #LiteraryLuck
⭐⭐⭐1/2stars a light hearted story, originally written for a daily paper. Just what I needed to clean my palate between heavier tomes. Pat, Matthew, Bruce and the other characters are full of life.
