My daughter brought me this book from her library to read over the weekend. It was great - so clever. And the book feels so good in your hand! #130 #BFC21 #OutstandingOctober #Dewey‘s24-hourReadathon #FallIntoReading #Scarathon2021 #Screamathon #Frightfall #SpookOWeen #SweaterWeatherReadathon #OctoberReadathon #Wickedathon

#CurrentlyListening to this. I feel a bit useless so the least I can do is help hone my language for real conversations. #blitsy #blacklitsy #blacklivesmatter #georgefloyd #blm #readtoresist

Twainy This is one of 4 I have on waitlist ... 4y
Chelleo @Twainy I was shocked it was available! I always return as soon as I finish so others won‘t have to wait. Especially on such an important title. Hope you don‘t wait long. 4y
Twainy 😁 I‘m now #130 on 8 books 4y

Chelleo @Twainy 😳 Wow. 4y
Twainy Thank you!!! I checked Hoopla aggggain and it‘s there now!! I‘m listening after I finish Eight Perfect Murders!! 4y
Chelleo @Twainy 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 4y
RainyDayReading I‘ve got this on hold from my library along with a handful of others! I‘m currently hold number 439 on 97 copies 😅 4y
Chelleo @RainyDayReading Wait...439?!?!? How long does it say the wait is? 4y
RainyDayReading @Chelleo It says the wait is about 9 weeks 4y
alisiakae I am more comfortable with writing vs talking in general, so this is something that I continually need to work on improving in myself. Real, in-person conversations are hard, and sometimes I feel like I muddle through. Practice, practice, practice. 4y
Chelleo @4thhouseontheleft Same for me too. I am awful in he heat of the moment. I like time to gather my thoughts. 4y
Chelleo @RainyDayReading that‘s not too bad. I have a 21 week wait for a book right now. 4y
Sace I always come up with intelligent/lucid things to say....6 weeks later 🙄 4y
Chelleo @Sace Exactly 🤦🏾‍♀️ 4y
RainyDayReading @Chelleo No it‘s not too bad at all. There‘s another book I have on hold that is a 6 month wait but I think that‘s the longest one at the moment. With the libraries all shut down everyone is going for the ebooks. 4y

#130 of my year. I‘m happy I read so many this year but now that I have to find them all for my end of year picture pile I am not looking forward to that lol I offered my son $20 if he would pull the 129 from my shelves for me and he said DEAL 😅 happy New Years everyone 🥳

Caffeinated_Reader Ok but why did that really scare me? Lol I had goosebumps on my arms and had to move away from the window at my back. Creepy! Such a great story. I loved the build up and the lesson. I loved the ending, it made me cry. What a great book! 5y

2017 #130 novel audio very different from the others I have read by him. This one has vulgarity, not misplaced but not loved, and without the convergence of timelines and the intertwining of storylines that I have always loved. This is a story that is so heartbreakingly human that it crawled into my brain, clawed it's way into my heart and rubbed raw emotional scars. It was not my favorite but I loved the writing, the characters, the pain. +
