Current mood after finishing this book: Caught in between wanting to visit the Amazon rainforests and being scared of the horrors/wonders that reside there.

It also low key reminded me of Lord of the Rings ☺️

This was recommended by a lady I work with. I enjoyed it. The writing reminds me of Michael Crichton.

Texreader He‘s my fave author 6y
MaleficentBookDragon That's one of my favorites of Rollins. If you liked it, then next try 6y

Can‘t sleep so I‘m playing here -
I haven‘t read Joe Hill yet but I think I‘ll like him
JAMES ROLLINS
Paula Hawkins (haven‘t read Slaughter)
Neil Gamain
I haven‘t read either, but maybe Ware?
Ania Ahlbirn (Little gets too gross for me sometimes; that‘s why I‘m afraid to try Nick Cutter)
I love Gillian but have to pick Jennifer McMahon here
Don‘t hate me, but I‘ve never read JK Rowling, so I pick George R Martin, because 🐉
#dontmakemechoose

JoeStalksBeck Ha! I haven‘t read JK either 7y
Avanders I haven‘t read James Rollins yet.. but he‘s getting a lot of #LitsyLove ! 7y

#rocktober #welcometothejungle One of my favourite jungle books would have to be Amazonia by James Rollins, can you get any more jungle than the Amazon! In this book it is a case of what is lurking in the jungle? There are certainly some surprises waiting. I would definitely recommend this book.

DGRachel I have not read anything by Rollins, yet, but I picked up one of his books at my local used bookstore. One of these days I'll get to it... 7y
Andrew65 @DGRachel He does write a good story, both his standalones, or the series he writes. 7y
Cinfhen I've heard good things about Rollins...how many books are in his series?!? 7y

BarbaraBB This sounds really tempting! 7y
Andrew65 @BarbaraBB It is a good book. 😊 7y
Andrew65 @Cinfhen There are currently 13 in the Sigma Force Series, but they are still being written, but I would also strongly recommend the Order of the Sanguines Trilogy which he wrote with Rebecca Cantrell - I loved that series. The first book in the Order of the Sanguines is (edited) 7y

#theriver Might as well go for the longest river in the world and go with James Rollins book Amazonia. A cracking story and a great thriller, thoroughly recommend - but he is one of my favourite authors!

Cinfhen Sounds good! Did you post this author the other day??? I feel like I just stacked a book by him very recently 🤔🙄😬 8y
Andrew65 @cinfhen Yes I posted James Rollins yesterday for the #fireandice hashtag but that was for one of his other books. 8y
Cinfhen Ok, good...I'm not losing my mind! 8y
Andrew65 @Cinfhen Most Definitely not, in fact a good memory to remember this. 😊 8y

I guess I don't own many #bookssetinsamerica, so I'm sharing these two travel guides from our epic 5 week trip to South America last winter, plus tagging Amazonia, which is my favorite James Rollins book and an awesome thriller!
