so-soI‘m giving this book a so-so rating because I have extremely mixed feelings about it. It was good enough to make me super scared, and to get me to buy two more in the series. BUT when I say I was scared by it, I do NOT mean the fun kind of scared. I was so grossed out by it that I REALLY though about putting it down and never picking it back up! But I did end up finishing it and the ending kept me gripped enough to pick up the sequel!

Sienna, the MC, has a draining superpower. But not only this, this book is soooo drainingly boring, I wanted to throw it out the window (I didn't, but I deleted it from my kindle).
so-soFor me it was a 2.5/5 stars ✨ just because I got a bit bored around the middle. The book was narrated from the main characters perspective, a girl with quite a personality (which I really liked) but for me there was not enough plot. It also reminded me of X-Men (random comment).
However I am still reading book 2. Untouched.
This girl is intense! Getting depressed in 3...2...1
