3 posts | 5 read
Wonder Woman may have gotten a handle on juggling her responsibilities as both Queen of the Amazons and God of War, but that hasn t stopped her enemies from trying to claim her titles. Although Donna Troy was imprisoned on Mount Olympus after trying to kill Diana and take her crown, Wonder Woman still believes the Amazon deserves a second chance. But when Donna escapes her cell, it s up to Wonder Woman to stop her before she s let loose on Man s World. And meanwhile, a new villain has set his sights on the superheroine, one who is obsessed with claiming Diana s godhood for himself whatever the cost! Wonder Woman must decide her Fate in this epic story from acclaimed creative team Meredith Finch (Tales From Oz) and David Finch (BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT)! WONDER WOMAN VOL. 8: A TWIST OF FATE collects issues #41-47."

It's just not the same since the author switched for me.... still interesting, but definitely not the page turner the first half of this series was under Brian Azzarello.

I think I enjoyed the previous volume more, but I'm continuing to enjoy Meredith and David Finch's run on Wonder Woman. I'm glad I was able to get this from the library. Definitely worth reading for Wonder Woman fans

Continuing to read the Meredith and David Finch Wonder Woman series. Love this homage to my all time favorite Bugs Bunny cartoon. Makes me want to sing, "Speer and Magic Helmet"!
