1. Quite inadvertently, Crucible by James Rollins, it‘s about witches
2. The tagged book. Only my second 5-star read for 2019

Mid-book review. These Brother Cadfael books had started to feel formulaic: a murder, several suspects with motives, & Cadfael to solve the crime. Until now with book 6: the unrest caused by England‘s Civil War has resulted in wandering lawlessness and refugees. Cadfael has very nasty problems, including murder, to solve now. It‘s a more depressing read, but more realistic for the times. Excellently done.
Started listening to The Virgin In The Ice, the sixth book in the Cadfael Series, this will cover 1982 for me in the #CenturyofBooks Challenge.
Winter kills, literally. My favorite in the Cadfael series. #winterwonderland @TrishB @Cinfhen
This is in my top three of the Cadfael mysteries. I love the almost closed environment storyline. It tackles important issues of loyalty, violence, women's status. It's the introduction of my favourite character that isn't Cadfael. This one has action, love, peril all in a really good entertaining story.
Best of December. Not a lot of reading but rereading my favourite. #bestofdecember
November hasn't been a really good for reading. Still, I'm hoping to finish these by the week-end. Ellis Peters' is a reread and The boyfriend makeover is one book I've been waiting to be available for awhile. #currentlyreading
This is my rereads for November. I started a reread of Brother Cadfael two years ago. This is my all time favourite of the series. #booktober #reread 💗😊❤️💖💞🎉⚡️
