I really loved this book!
Riding home from Orlando today and started reading this one. Praying for my friends in Florida as Dorian makes its way towards the state. Glad there wasn‘t a direct hit to PR.

This was a satisfying snow day read this week! It was my third book of the day, and I just didn‘t want to put it down. Although the characters weren‘t super developed, it had a solid thriller plot and the pacing was good. I‘d say that the specific details are already fading from my memory a few days after reading it, but it was a fun reading experience.
I'm a fan of Cate Holahan. Both The Widower's Wife and Lies She Told were written with enough of a twist in the writing style itself to keep me interested, surprised, and wanting more. The Widower's Wife alternates between the assumed-dead wife and the investigator - an all-too-familiar setup for a Gone Girl-esque thriller. Except that the wife explains each twist the Investigator finds, so that I literally gasped out loud when I got to Part III.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great thriller! The last 30 pages were totally engrossing, with a happy (but kind of sad too) ending..
Next up - trying to get ONE BOTM in before the end of the month! 🤞🏻
I'm a self-proclaimed thriller junkie, so I really enjoyed this tale of suspense and greed. Very twisty-turny - the way I like them. Couldn't put it down until the ending was revealed. Looking forward to reading more from Cate Holahan.
Normally I don't like books that switch perspective however it was done in a way that made me interested in both sides of the story. I wasn't satisfied with where the author went with the last part of the story. It seemed rushed and it bothered me. Glad this was a library loan.
My hold from the library just came through. 🤗🤗
However...Some one is not letting me read right now. 😼
I'm really enjoying this pick from my last month's BOTM. It's a fun, twisty mystery. 🔪☠️👍#botm
Hey guys! so I'm thinking of the next book I want to read and saw two from BOTM. I downloaded a sample of The Widower's Wife and The Couple Next Door on my kindle. Any one have a preference of the two? No Spoilers 😄 Also open to other suggestions but I feel like that may open an unending can of worms lol ❤
Beautiful day by the river, with my current read! Intriguing so far!
Really twisty domestic drama. Not sure what's going to happen.
