I mostly picked this up because an *Australian* cozy mystery is something a bit different! The “quick guide to Aussie lingo” at the start gave me a chuckle.
I had a good time reading this, it‘s got all the right ingredients to set Ruth up as a reluctant amateur sleuth - and I‘ll be interested in reading the next instalment - because I love mysteries about uncovering family secrets.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag My only quibble with this one was that the murderer was given too many convenient skills - it felt a little out of step with the rest of the book - even if it did make for a rather action packed reveal. 4mo
MaleficentBookDragon Stacked! Sounds like fun. 4mo
