Unpopular opinion. I am not a fan of vampires stories but this story has mystery to it. A sister suspect a vampire kidnap her twin sister. It‘s all I needed to know. Currently reading. 📚

Two almost-bingos this month! I didn't finish my bookspin, Immortal Dark or Dracula but I'll add them to my list for November. It's probably going to be an even mix of spooky books I didn't get to in October and Christmas-y books as I start to get into the winter holiday spirit. #bookspinbingo

My sister's cat looks so grumpy here but she was actually living her best life and also helping with my cramps while I got in a bit of reading before my nephews woke up
Enemies to lovers, but very heavy on the enemy part. Kidan and her sister June have been hidden away from the vampire world where her family have been companions with vampires for generations. Her sister is kidnapped and Kidan must enter that world to find her. This book has some pretty dark themes of magic, death, and betrayal. I thought it had some very beautiful writing. It's the first of a trilogy, so no satisfying ending yet.
Vacation starts today! Well, a staycation. I'm off through all next week. On the agenda - sleep, read, some deep cleaning, and walks with Peri. I'm about a quarter of the way into Immortal Dark.
This new series is a gothic blend of dark academia, vampire lore, fantasy, and African lore. At its heart is Kidan, a complex and compelling main character. Her ruthless determination, unwavering devotion to her sister, and the conflict of being torn between two worlds make her a character you can't help but invest in. You will love the tension between her and Susenyos, set against the backdrop of the powerful family houses and the university.
Starting Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma. Hopefully it's a good sign of a good book that I love what I see just opening the cover. Love a library book detail.
My festive October #BookSpinBingo board with two books already completed! My #bookspin and #doublespin books are Immortal Dark and The Little Coffee Shop of Terrors. So excited for some spooky and atmospheric reads this month! @TheAromaofBooks
Picked this one up on a whim and now don't want to have to wait for the next two books in this series. I loved this book so much and I am having a hard time making my thoughts make sense for a proper review, so instead I will just say this book was AMAZING and as soon as the next comes out, I will be right there to get it.
“The world loves to punish girls who dream in the dark. I plan to worship them.“
Ahem...sir....
I don't have a key, therefore the axe from the GARDEN SHED will work, lmao I love this woman's logic, seriously.
I have been sucked in. This book is amazing, so much information and suspense! I am in love!
Can we please take a moment to enjoy this cover? THIS BOOK IS BEAUTIFUL
Happy Friday night, littens! 💕
I have to work all weekend, so I definitely should have been in bed already - but I started this amazing vampire book a little while ago and now I can't put it down! I know I will probably regret it when I'm dragging tomorrow, but I still think it's totally worth it! 📖
It's going to reach almost 98° here all week! 😩 Ugh. I hate it! And Rumple is not happy about the heat either! 😹 I'm trying to summon cooler, Fall vibes by starting this interesting looking vampire book! ❤️📚
