The Nardal sisters had a salon in Paris in the 20s where Black artists/writers from Africa, the Caribbean (inc. Jamaican poet Claude McKay) & the US met & exchanged ideas. They were instrumental in making the Harlem Renaissance known to other African and African diasporic writers. This book is centered on Paulette (whose statue was uncovered during the Paris Olympics opening ceremony), the others sisters are hardly mentioned. Still informative.⬇ï¸
