Still holding on to hope her husband may be alive, Celine is desperate to track Tate down and figure out whats going on before its too late. The only problem? There are dark truths waiting to come out that are so atrocious she wont ever be able to look away from them. As she begins to put together the pieces of the mysterious day her husband went missing, it paints a picture of a man she never really knew. It took me a bit to get into this one, but the twists were good, as usual, for her. The ending may have been a bit rushed, but it‘s not the longest book either.

Caveat here: R^pe & young male psychotic bully viciousness.

I‘ll set the scene: Five teenage friends, growing up in foster homes. But they are friends & want to stay friends in college.

What could possibly go wrong? And dang, guys, no one needs to draw blood over “A Catcher In the Rye”. 🙄

That latter isn‘t actually in the book but it does briefly come into play.

Good read if you mind trigger warnings.

KMod does it again. I had been a little disappointed with a few of her previous novels because I felt like they weren‘t as thrilling as I was used to from her but this one was spot on! It was so thrilling and there were twists and turns that had me gasping and I just kept turning the pages. Another 5 ⭐️ from KMod!

SOOOO GOOD!

Imagine being told your husband was killed in a car accident only to find out that it‘s definitely not your husband but he has your husband‘s tattoo, his wallet, phone & is driving his car. Celine is on a mission to find out what happened to her husband & the father of her two kids. It‘s so awful!

I didn‘t see the ending coming.

Great thriller! I look forward to more from Kiersten Modglin.
