Hilarious and tender, Linney is given such life, a strong character with a specific voice, yet anyone who's had any remotely friendly feelings toward a particular cat will have the joy of recognizing the spectrum of feline behaviour from the fondly tolerated to the widely enjoyed. Her people provide entertainment and heart as well. Love the art style, 1/2

Knisley wrote these comics partially because she knew she would lose Linny someday and wanted to record her... thereby setting her readers up to also be heartbroken. 💔 But honestly it wouldn't be the same book without the end.

Miss Cassandra‘s personal woe: when she tilts her head back with her big sad eyes, and her mean uncaring human keeps reading her book instead of devoting all her attention to giving Miss Cassandra neck scritches.

I‘ve been seeing this book everywhere, and I I‘m glad I jumped on the Linney train. This was a quick, funny read that was real in just that way that will make both cat lovers and haters smile and laugh for totally opposite reasons.

Two things:
1. Meet Olympia — the kitten that my youngest son adopted and she‘s won all of us over ♥️
2. I love Lucy Knisley and I‘ll read anything she creates. This book is a one-sitting read for not just cat-lovers, anyone really. But cat lovers will be especially charmed.
Perfect timing that we have a new buddy just when I picked up Knisley‘s latest.
