I'm finding this a very calm, easy read which is just perfect for today.

I like that Halle is mentioned as being a larger size than the other girls she knows and absolutely nothing is made of this. It's just a fact that comes up when she needs to borrow clothes.

Finished my October #BookSpin pick this morning. Also you couldn‘t tell from looking at it but there is a Halloween party that happens in this book as well as Christmas scenes just in case anyone wants to justify this as a holiday read. 👻🎁 This has been my favorite installment of this series, but I think a lot of us were dying for a Henry book since Icebreaker. ⬇️

Henry, the hockey captain and academic superstar Halle meet and devise a plan to help them each overcome problems and gain new experiences.
Being a private tutor to Henry will help end Halle‘s writers block. Henry wants to be the man to give Halle new experiences to write about. Can they follow the rules they make?
A slow burn romance that focuses on people who are neurodivergent yet choose not to use labels. Brilliant writing & characterisation

I love that we‘ve gotten Henry‘s story. I hope there are more Maple Hills books to come. The author‘s note about how personal the neurodivergent storyline is to her was refreshing to read. Henry and Halle are a great couple and I love how they embrace their own uniqueness as well as the others.

Absolutely loved it! I loved that Henry and Halle found each other and could be exactly who the other one needed, bumpa and all! I hope there is more of this series because I want to spend more time in Maple Hills!
