Each chapter is interspersed with snippets from Heyer‘s letters, family photos and images of book covers. We read which novels Heyer thought were her best, which ones she tried to suppress, and oodles of other fascinating tidbits. I‘m obsessed. 😆

MrsMalaprop I was chatting to a work colleagues on my first day back after summer break & she told me she discovered a new author & went down a rabbit hole, reading the author‘s many books, listening to podcasts about her etc. So I quickly stacked one of her books on Litsy to look into her later. And the author was Georgette Heyer! I will have to let my colleague know about this book, and of course to get into reading one of her books myself 😊. 1y
