Chicken Pox has hit our house with a vengeance. I have an incredibly irritable and unhappy toddler, so I wanted a light read.
This was easy, romantic escapism but I found it was quite boring in parts. The friendship between the 3 main characters was lovely but their love interests were unlikeable in parts.

Nice happy summer read. The bond between the lead characters is special and the way they support each other through times of difficulty and happiness was lovely to read. #review #romance #friendship

Bookshelf clear out here because we have the builders coming in (hence the radio silence, well that and starting a new job and a mother-in-law with a broken arm!). Here's one of the boxes that's gone up the charity shop. I've been beyond ruthless and sent anything I don't think I'm going to read again - or that I have in ebook too.

I loved it! 3 women meet and forge friendships, romances and a business while living on and off the canal system of England. A great escape and I may look into a canal vacay😉👌🏻💕
