Catching up on my sister buddy read while Bell does her rehab workout. ❤️🐾

I'm not a fan of the cozy so far. The storyline is rather disjointed, description without development - it definitely feels like a first novel. I'm most looking forward to the recipes! 😋

1. Coffee. Lots.
2. Rewatching seasons of Good Eats. That's probably as recent as I get. 😆
3. Buddy-reading the tagged cozy with my sister, and I just cracked open Jackaby yesterday. I enjoyed the first few pages and am excited for the rest!
4. Cloudy and cold. If it were snowing, it would be my favorite type of weather.
5. Traditional ears - my less traditional piercings have closed up.

This is to be my next buddy read with my sister (she loves the Joanne Flukes), so I just bought the Kindle version. It is only published as an ebook or an audiobook, which is unique to me. Amazon offered the audiobook as a discounted add-on, so I listened to a sample. The reader has such a pleasant voice! I found the audio is available from hoopla, so I won't buy the add-on, but I will definitely look for other books read by Marguerite Gavin!

This book was such a gem! I loved everything about it!! It had several great red herrings and it kept me guessing till the very end of who did it! Cannot wait for the second one to come out!!

Using this day off to relax, put my feet up and read my book!!!! Sounds like perfection to me!

Since I am still waiting on my postal book club book I thought I would sneak this read in... Have heard good things about this mystery!
